Brant defeated Highland Hose 16-1 on Tuesday...Brant was led by 3 HR from Joe Hill and 2 HR's from Tony Puntillo. I believe Tommy Lederhouse moved in to the Brant Fire Hall as he stayed all night with the Brant Boys....Next up for Brant is Reserve...
Clutch hitting by Chuck Zahm and Chad Lindner helped Woodlawn win this game. Chris Bley pitched a good game and did give some of our guys trouble. NC had bases loaded in the top of the 7th but Ernie got Stan to pop up to end the game. Next up North Evans at their house.
James Atzrott went yard as NE put up 8 in the first...Jack Hazard pitch a good game as well. Lake View had plenty of hits but not in the right times...defense played well also..its starting to come together little by little...next up at OP
I am never bitching about the cold again. What a hot night to play last night. Like to use that as an excuse but cant. Reserve 4 lake shore 3. Could of used a fire in the middle of the game (ala Brant) needed the batting cage reps. Great game played defensively on both sides. Congrats to reserve see ya in a few weeks
Just to let everyone know that Woodlawn has picked up the Lakefront Golf Championship. For the first time in the history of the Lakefront Cup Woodlawn won all 6 matches. Thanks goes out to Lakeview and Lakeshore for an outstanding effort. The Cup is finnaly home where it belongs. Thanks Goes to Wally Bratek,Rick Mardino,Dale Cassidy,Forrest Cassidy,Chad Lindner,Brian Donahue,Nick Cirocco,Steve Scarsella,Vinnie Pupo,Ernie Jewett,Dave Leaskey Jr and Chuck Zahm for a great job.
Question is.. If lakeshore or Lakeview couldnt make it for say....a wedding for a fellow fireman, would you have rescheduled? Honest question.
Catch16
NO It would not have been rescheduled because they would have at least played with what they had and not piss wined and moned about it. Honest answer

I dont agree with what Woodlawn did or how they handled that game but I didnt call them chumps. I dont have a problem with anyone from Woodlawn, just a bad decision on their part last season.
