On an, interesting field at the nike base, which the town of Hamburg claimed was fine at 2pm, NC defeated Lakeview. I wouldn't read much into this though, Lakeview was missing 3-4 starters tonight. They still played hard with what they had and I give them lots of credit for that.
For NC, Ricky Williams had a grand slam over the fence, which he crushed, and Chris Bley also put one out. Danny Beaver threw real well, retiring atleast the first 9 batters! He also had 3 Ks.
Overall, good game all around by NC. Great time at the hall after, I just got home now around 11:15pm. Great bunch of guys, looking forward to them visiting our hall later in the season. Good luck until then Lakeview.

North Collins Softball, win or lose, we drink the booze
every 10 years or so you are involved in one of those defensive thrillers. last night was one of them. I dont think I have ever played in a game that there was no errors. chet and ernie both pitched an awesome game. Final score LAKE SHORE 3 WOODLAWN 2. We tried but I dont think we out scored them afterwards . Had to leave at 1:00 am place was still hopping.good time had by all.

Just a great time at Lakeview last night. I look forward to having them come up to good ole NC in a few weeks. The fourth floor of the NC hotel has already been reserved for that night by Zack Jewett so everyone else better get their reservations in soon. Big thanks to Lakewiew for a great night.
