Woodlawn started fast with 5 in the first but Reserve answered that with 4 of their own. Woodlawn then settled down after that and played good defence. Tyger cut down 2 runners at the plate with 2 nice tags by Anties. Kittner did a nice job umpiring the game even though Warsaw still is tying to tell us that he did touch first base. I am really not sure anyone is listening. They just want the 30 pack.
Orchard Park held our first practice Thursday at 6:45, Lake Shore showed up and offered to help us. They showed us how to score a run which we got in the first inning, then they showed us they score runs in every inning, by the end of 5 innings they showed us 6 runs and we were starting to get the hang of what they were doing. Then they showed us a new way of scoring multiple runs in an inning, it worked quite well for them as they got 12 more in the next 2 innings. We thanked them for the 18-1 lesson with tacos and beer, and we will try to use this valuable info against Highland this week. that is all.....
