Like we did for over 20 years!!!!!... yea I dream of the past.... some things you just can't let go of....... you know us blue collar county folk... we cling to religion, guns and memories....
Boozer. My first year in Brant you guys beat us bad. It was at the church and it was a back and forth game, the lead changing many times. It was a great game until you guys went ahead by 1 run and we had 99 on 2b and Hector at the plate with no outs in the homer dome . Mysteriously Bly was having difficulties with seeing the ball since it was getting " slightly " less light outside and the ump called the game. Remember that? I think you bunted 6 times. That was one of your very few wins vs. Brant in the past 10 years. Including the championship. Ehemmmm !!
Oh how I remember that game..... 99's piercing voice still ringing in my ear....."turn the lights on".....ha ha... I didn't say what 20 years did I? Oh and that championship game.....if our hit an run worked we would have had the title... Someone has to be the GOAT (i wore it well)... I'm just glad we got some new blood to play this year.... not pro players but just good ole back yard ball players so I can hopefully see a new tradition start in NC..... J16A... I'm just happy for you that you have moved to be part of that BRANT pride.... Oh by the way..... I'm glad you remember I bunted in that game 6-6.
Save me a room, the wife may kick me out by the end of the season. Especially when I come late from the first game with wing sauce all over my face and beer stains on my underwear. Could be a long season. But that's why I play!!
