does it really make sense to argue softball with big tree? Woodlawn now has the trophy and if you or anyone else want it keep Aug 16th 2008 open because I know we will. 

then if its just a friggin ball game...why are we even having a problem about this...we all have more important obligations in our lives...so be it....explain that to e.s.....they chose that over the game....of course a wedding is of great importance, youve misunderstood me....but THEY picked that day, and the league doesnt stop for one person....we should not have to play any other day other than the day scheduled, if ALL our players cant be there...we were all there on sat....whats NOT fair is asking us to play w/out our best team, when they are the ones that scheduled the wedding.....dont wana hear about whatifs pertaining to rain day....it didnt rain, and had it did, than the rescheduled date was sun...an we'd a been shiit out of luck...but it didnt rain...

So everybody is on the same page, here some facts that need to be reviewed. The date of the playoff games was established at our April league meeting. At that point East Seneca could have asked that the Championsip game be played on Sunday or even Friday instead. They did not ask this. The league since I have been President holds meetings at least three times during the season. At any point we could have addressed this matter but it was not brought up to change the date.

To expect any team who they would have played in the championship game to change there schedule without regard for work or vacations is by no means fair either. The board told both teams tghat they could play that game at any time they wanted to, even 6:00a.m. if needed. Woodlawn was on board to do this, unfortunately East Seneca was not. It is something I feel could have been avoided during league meetings and even as late as last night but heels were dug in. If East Seneca expected the league to make Woodlawn play on another date they should not have. The league has been around for over 75 yrs. and I expect it will be around for quite some time in the future. If East Seneca wants to be a part of it is entirely up to them. I for one hope they will.

wow what a classless act taking a championship by forefit,if thats all that matters to
woodlawn is winning no mater what and family and friends don't matter.
then let's let them be chumps next year too.when you are scheduled to play them
next year don't show up for the game give them the forefit maybe then they'll get
the message.probally not but lets show some support and respect to east seneca
they earned it.this will be our way of protesting their classless choice of winning.
we won't be there next year,so woodlawn has a 1-0 record to start next season.
