Erie County Volunteer Firefighters Softball League
"Super Saturday" June 30th 2007
The ECVFSA would like to invite all firefighters to our annual "Super Saturday" this Saturday, June 30th at North Collins Town Park. The North Collins Fire Co. is the host this year, and there will be food, drinks, fun, and of course softball.
This league has been around for 75 years, and is comprised of 100% active firefighters from 16 different fire companies. We are looking for more teams to join us for next season. The league has teams from as far North as West Seneca, and as far south as Brant. we have recently received inquiries from teams in Elma, East Aurora, and Cheektowaga for next year, and would like to restore the north division if we can get enough new teams. If your fire company has a team in another league, or you want to start one, we would love to have you consider the ECVFSA. Not only is it a fun league, but it's a great way to develop relationships with your brother firefighters in neighboring towns.
So bring your teammates and come check out the games this Saturday. League officers will be there to answer any questions you may have, and you can see for yourself, or check out our website at www.eriefireball.com .
