Wonderful fun-filled family event celebrating the Town of Brant. Parade @ 11am, Live music & entertainment all day, crafters, jam/pie/photo contests, chicken BBQ, beer tent, kids zone, Do-Do the Clown, Bounce arenas, Motorcycle display, tractor & steam engine display, Antique & classic car display & much more....
wtf...you guys have known about this game since April....have some respect for other peoples time..I asked every team at our meeting if that day worked to play and everyone said it did....this makes me look like an ******* to the organizers of the event, as i told them we could get 2 games scheduled for the Brant SummerFest.....if you cant play a game...DONT AGREE TO PLAY..you are doing nobody any favors by agreeing and canceling at the last minute
I am done doing **** for this league...I will finish out the year updating this website but after this I am done....I am not going to spend my extra time if others have no respect for it...
For all your information as well...Lake View wasnt the only team who couldnt field the players...Highland was missing some to..i was just the one who posted it. And Both teams decided to make up the game...BOTH!...so i do not see a problem anywhere...this is not the pros...we dont get paid to play...things do come up and we did our best to try and field players...if Lake View had 9 we would of been there..regardless of the 9 but we couldnt...I am sorry you feel this way but it was not intentional or meant to cause any problems

then ask your guys earlier then 4 days before the game if they have plans....the game has been scheduled for over 2 months
Sorry but I feel compelled to respond to your post SLAMMING NC.
First off our regular season SCHEDULED game vs North Evans at the Brant Summer Fest was going to be played with a short NC bench. We were told by NE that they couldn't play that Saturday back when we played them at our home field early in the season. Once our guys found this out they made other plans for that day. Not to mention that these guys had CHANGED their plans originally so we could field a team and play at your Brant Summerfest. Now that you know the reasons up to this point why that game wasn't going to be played the other issue comes into play. I believe Tater contacted our manager Stan G and aked if we wanted to move our regular scheduled game to your Brant Summer Fest. I think Stan's response was sure why not. Nothing against Stan but we didn't discuss this as a team to make sure we still had enough guys to play when he gave his answer. As word traveled amongst our team about the game change we realized we wouldn't have enough guys to ACCOMMODATE Taters request. I don't know and I don't care what our guys plans are for that day but what I do care about is a post on this site that singles out NC for not "partaking" in the Brant Summer Fest. KNOW the FACTS first before you take a shot on here towards a team that DID take every effort to support you.
We know what it's like to try and bring teams in for a festival. If you recall we held the "Super Saturday" at the North Collins a couple times for our Summer Fest. We also had teams call at the last minute and cancel. Yes Brant, you did step up to the plate and "fill in" one year due to numerous teams backing out. That time the timing for both teams worked out.
Boozer it is not one team individually...it is the fact that we wanted to have games at our Brant Fest...I personally told the people in charge of this event that I could get them a few games to bring people to the event....I asked every team if they could make it after the schedule came out in late April...every team told me they would make it...then every team bailed on the event making me look like an idiot when I have to call the organizers and tell them another team bailed and we now have zero games....with more notice we may have been able to get other teams or find some other teams or leagues to play...

Tater, not sure who couldnt make it from Highland I will try to find out tonight, I just found out last night that we werent playing. If I can field the team , why dont we play our make up saturday???? Let me know if you can get a team , and I will let you know tomorrow if we can get a team!!!!

Tater looks like a no go for us on saturday, most of my guys made other plans now. I even tried to get some guys from North Evans to just play an exebition game.
Tommy, did you keep up? from what I saw before I left for work it looked like you guys were skating with the NHL draft picks. I was tired watching them skate.
