North Collins travels to Union on Thursday and then hosts Brant on Super Saturday at 11am. Should be a challenging week for NCFC softball.

BRANT DIDN'T BEAT HIGHLAND, THEY KILLED THEM. AFTER 3 1/2 INNINGS AND A SCORE OF 32-0, THE UMPIRE DECIDED THAT HIGHLAND WASNT TRYING AND CALLED THE GAME. NO BIG DEAL THOUGH, IT WAS HOT AND WE WERE TIRED. COLD BEERS AND HOT DOGS AT THE HALL FINISHED UP THE SHORT LIVED GAME. LOOKS LIKE WERE GONNA HOST SCRANTON ON THURSDAY, HOPE I HAVE ENOUGH GUYS !!!!

P.S.--- I DIDNT THINK THE VELCRO WOULD MAKE AN APPEARANCE BUT TATER SPORTED THEM WELL!!!!!

Firemen's Driving Test
You are driving in a fire engine at a constant speed. On your left side is a drop off (The ground is 18-20 inches below the level you are traveling on), and on your right side is a police car traveling at the same speed as you.
In front of you is a galloping horse which is the same size as your engine and you cannot overtake it. Behind you is a galloping zebra. Both the horse and zebra are also traveling at the same speed as you. What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation?
 For the answer scroll down

Get your drunken firemens ass off the merry-go-round.

North Collins defeated Union in a great game.

Union brought their game tonight, and gave us a real run for our money. Their pitcher was throwing real well, and their team was smashing the ball, one guy had 2 HRs I know that. (Sorry dont remeber your number or name).

I think we were down 2 going into the top of the 7th, and after Frankie and Beaver walked, a fly out, and Katie reaching on a slight fielding error, a Judson single, I got up and got a single to load the bases with 1 out, the next batter fly out, then Kyle Hoffman was clutch with 2 outs and smashed a triple to take the lead. We eneded up wining by 3 I think? Not sure. But it was an amazing game, and effort by both teams. Real fun to play in those close games.

Good luck to Union the rest of the way, especially if they play like they did tonight, they could make some noise come playoffs, thanks guys!

Woodlawn    16
East Seneca   2

Woodlawn played their best defense of the year and Ernie was able to adjust to a the tight strike zone of the Ump.  Woodlawn hit the ball well and were very patient at the plate which caused some walks and a REALLY pissed off East Seneca because they were not getting the corners.  A few people were tossed and it was  ugly on the East Seneca side.  This is the same Ump that threw Earl and should not do another Fireman's game.  Woodlawn did not have a problem with him since Ernie was able to adjust to the strike zone and East Senecas aggresiveness at the plate.

Big Tree lost another one from Farnham last night. It ended in the bottom of the 6th with them being up by 15. Stupid mistakes and lack of hitting on our part gave Farnham a lot of easy runs, but they had some great hits, too. As we like to call it, a typical Big Tree game was played. Anyone who's coming up on the schedule can look forward to a win.

SCRANTON 11
HIGHLAND 5

WELL AT LEAST IT WAS COOLER THAN MONDAY NIGHT WHEN WE PLAYED BRANT!!! GAME STARTED OUT TIGHT WITH A HIGHLAND LEAD. QUICKLY ANSWERED BY THE BATS FROM SCRANTON. ABOUT 3 INNINGS IN , HIGHLAND HAD THERE USUAL ONE BAD INNING ALLOWING 8 OR 9 RUNS. WE HAD THE SAME TERRIBLE UMPIRE THAT WE HAD MONDAY, THIS TIME INSTEAD OF CALLING THE GAME HE THREW MY 3RD BASEMAN OUT FOR DRAWING A LINE AFTER CALLING AS OBVIOUS BALL A STRIKE!!! AND HE ALSO RULED AN OBVIOUS CATCH AT CENTER BY SCRANTONS WHITEY A TRAP!!! BOTH TEAMS ARGUED THAT THIS WAS A GOOD CATCH. THIS GUYS STRIKE ZONE IS TERRIBLE!!!!! ANYWAY GOOD FOOD AND BEER TO FOLLOW. LOOKS LIKE A HOME TOWN SHOW DOWN NEXT WEEK WHEN WE ARE HOSTED BY SISTER COMPANY NORTH EVANS!!!!!!!
