North Collins 7

Woodlawn 8

Woodlawn got the W in walk off fashion, with runners on 1st and second, they drove in the winning run from first.(Sorry whoever hit it, I didnt catch the name),

Despite a 4/4 2RBI effot from myself and a homer from Chris Bley, after about the 3rd inning we went completely cold, with no runs, and blew the 7-1 or so lead we had. We need to hit the cages after that, but pros to Woodlawn, as they got the job done, and got the W. Good luck the rest of the season.

It was a great game between NC and Woodlawn. We had fun even though we lost. Woodlawn is a great bunch of guys. Good luck the rest of the year.

Woodlawn    8
North Collins 7

North Collins jumped on Woodlawn early with 7 runs in the first 2 innings but were shut down the rest of the way.Woodlawn battled back to tie it in the 5th and scored the winning run in the bottom of the 7th.  Home Runs by Mike Weller helped Woodlawns cause.  Woodlawn was playing without Warsaw, Scarcella, and Pupo so our young Kids got a chance and played well.  Tim Wesolek, Adam Brodnicki, and Patrick McAnaney led the defence for Woodlawn with also some clutch hits.  North Collins will be herd from again.  GREAT GAME

Lake shore 16
Orchard park 2
Sounds like one sided game but op kept it close until lake shore was able to bust out in the 4th. Again nice pitching  by chet and some awesome plays at short by mark, kept OP off the board after the 2nd. Lots of beers afterwards and hang overs today

Tuesday..Brant Beat Lake Erie Beach 12-6 at the WOrld famous EVans TOwn Park......Leaky Beach hit well, fielded well, and pitched well..they will definitely suprise some teams this year...nice squad they have...Brant was led by all world SUperstar, franchise shortstop and hero to children everywhere Tom Ignatius Whelan....this god like ball player hit for the cycle, and with several Pro softball scouts in the crowd, he may be leaving us soon..Vince Fininzio went the distance on the mound....

Must be nice to have a team that players can pick and choose to play because they don't like some people. Just because we're ****y doesn't make us a$$holes. I think company politics have just as much to do with it as that fact that Woodlawn is a perenial good team.

WINCHESTER 12
HIGHLAND 3

LOOKED LIKE A GOOD GAME FROM THE FIRST SWING OF THE BAY. 4 BATTERS A PIECE IN THE FIRST INNING. WINCHESTER HELD HIGHLAND TO ANOTHER 4 IN THE TOP OF 2 BEFORE THEY BROKE OUT THE BATS WITH 7 RUNS SCORED IN THE 2ND. HIGHLAND GOT ANOTHER CHANCE AT THE BATS IN THE 3RD. WITH A HIT FROM ROSWITALSKI, AND RBI'S FROM FICKEL, AND LEDERHOUSE, HIGHLAND FINALLY GOT ON THE BOARD WITH 2 RUNS. WINCHESTER GRABBED ANOTHER 5 RUNS IN THE 4TH, WITH HIGHLAND GETTING THIER FINAL RUN IN THE 7TH WITH ANOTHER RBI FROM FICKEL. STRONG DEFENSIVE PLAY FROM LEFT, CENTER, SHORT , AND THIRD, AND STRONG PITCHING FROM THE MOUND. LOOKING FORWARD TO RESERVE NEXT WEEK!!!
