Awesome game BOYS. This has to be one of if not the most exciting games in recent years. 8 innings and great plays by both teams. Hats off to you. I'm just glad that next year when WE win it, we won't have so far to go....
I think I saw the brown spot on Hector but a bit later than the 3rd than I predicted and Pero had a whole lot more to say than what I predicted too.
Congratulations to Brant on their victory in the best Championship game played in a long time. At the end of the first inning it looked like it was going to be a slugfest. Defense was outstanding with one great play after another. North Collins, nobody gave your team a snowballs chance in hell, but your team proved that your place in this game was no fluke! Special thanks to the grounds crew from the town of W.S. for work above and beyond. The diamond was in great shape for game time sunday. I will see you all at the Sept. meeting to start getting ready for another great season!
Well for those that missed that championship games this past weekend, you missed some TERRIFIC ball! Congratulations to Brant for a great victory over North Collins. Congrats to NC for giving Brant a run for their money and making the championship game a tremendous ball game. Both teams should be proud of their accomplishments this year! I can't remember enjoying a championship game as much in the past years. Great job to all! See you at the meeting in September.
Congrats to both teams, this championship game shows just what a great league we've got. The entire playoffs were exciting for ALL teams. I want to thank the board for the great direction they are taking the league in. Maybe some of those Erie County Northtown Fire companies want to come down and get a little softball lesson. What a long trip it would be back to Clarence or Williamsville after having to play Brant or N.C. and getting spanked......
nice job brant. i picked you to win but not that close. sounded like a great game. woodlawn had a team party planned for sunday and had to miss it. we did have our play by play man there to update us during the game. nc will be a team to deal with in the future. congates to both teams.
