week 3

Highland met up with the Cattauraugus on the Rez. Good game was played by all. Umpire called the game in the bottom of the sixth inning with one out due to darkness. It was 8:40pm and the skies were bright. Thought that was bull**** to call the game in the middle of an inning , especially when it was bright out still. But i guess thats what you get from the umpires in this league. Thank you John Phillips for Quality employees!!!!! Highland lost to the Rez , I beleive it was 23-22.

Woodlawn beat OP 19-4. Home rums by larry, Chad, Vinny, Andy lead the way for Woodlawn. Chris from Op got hurt in the third. Heard he will be ok. he got out of the mac at 6am. He has a torn muscle from the rear of his ribs. Good news no surgery. Get well Chris.

Big Tree/Armor 0

North Collins 12

Danny Beaver threw a 1 hit, shutout in the NC win. He also had a few K's, as did the BigArm pitcher, I think he had 4 actually.

Solid game, the pitchers were really good tonight. BigArm played well, and you can tell they're getting better.

Scranton came out to Farnham last night and it turned out to be one hell of a game. Back and forth battle between teams finally resulted in a 17-16 Farnham win. Highlights of the game were Sammy Militello's 2 in the park homers and Pete Chiavetta's double. (Didn't know he had it in him) Good job with the umpiring. Fair all the way on the calls. The crowd did get alittle rowdy but that is expected at a Farnham home game.
